1. Data controller
VšĮ "Tendance" (a Lithuanian non-profit; hereinafter – Tendance), registered in Klaipėda, Lithuania. Contacts: office@tendance.lt, +370 659 07615.
2. What data we collect
- Registration form – first name, surname, email, phone, child's age, preferred contact method (phone / SMS / email).
- Chats on our website chat window and Facebook Messenger – the text of your messages, your name (as shown on your Facebook profile), Facebook ID (PSID), and any contact details you provide during the conversation.
- Technical data – IP address, browser type, language (used only to keep the chat session secure).
3. Purposes and legal basis
- To answer your questions about dance classes, camps and events – legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To process registrations for classes and camps – performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To improve the quality of chatbot responses – legitimate interest; no personal data is used to train third-party artificial intelligence models.
4. Automated chatbot (Tendance Messenger)
Your messages to the Facebook page "TENdance" are processed by an automated chatbot that runs on our own server in Klaipėda. When generating replies, the text of your message is sent to the OpenAI API; under our contract, OpenAI is not permitted to use this data to train models. The reply is returned to you through Facebook Messenger. A summary of the conversation is stored in a Google Sheets document accessible only to our administrators Evelina and Asta. If the bot cannot answer, the question is forwarded to the administrator.
5. Data retention
- Chat history – up to 12 months, then anonymised.
- Registration data – up to 5 years after the last class.
- Contact data for marketing – only with your explicit consent.
6. Data recipients
- Google LLC (Sheets, Drive) – under EU standard contractual clauses.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook Messenger) – under Meta's privacy policy.
- OpenAI Ireland Ltd. – as a data processor, with no model training.
- Our website hosting provider (UAB "Serveriai", Lithuania).
7. Your rights
You have the right to: access your data, request rectification or erasure, restrict processing, data portability, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (vdai.lrv.lt).
8. Data deletion request
To delete your data, write to office@tendance.lt or send the word "DELETE" to the "Tendance" Facebook page. We will delete your data within 30 days.
9. Cookies
The website uses technical cookies necessary for the chat window to function. Only with your consent (by clicking "Accept" in the cookie banner) do we also use analytics and advertising cookies: Google Analytics 4 (traffic statistics) and Google Ads (measuring advertising results). The provider is Google Ireland Ltd.; data may be transferred to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Until you consent, these tools do not set cookies and send only anonymised signals (Google Consent Mode). Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.
